A book suggestion for a future meeting: The Book Thief by Markus Zukas.

  2. I ❤ this book suggestion! Be on the look out for a post on future book club titles.

  3. Janet – We will be discussing THE BOOK THIEF soon. I hope to see you at next month’s book club!

  4. Colin says:

Will the club ever do “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”? also, when will registration for December happen and how can I get a copy of The Hobbit?

    • Good question, Colin. I love the book version of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and I’ve heard the movie is pretty good. It’s definitely a title to consider, thanks for the suggestion. We have a few titles purchased for the next few months, but it’s possible that we could this one.

Regarding The Hobbit, you may register for it now at http://bit.ly/Uzjifm We meet Saturday, December 15th, 2 – 4pm.

If you’re able to visit the Main Library, I can reserve a copy for you on the hold shelf across from the check-out desk, or I can send it to another branch if that’s more convenient for you. Either way, let me know!

Feel free to email me: kgale@tacomapubliclibrary.org If you plan to pick it up, please tell me when, so I can be sure to put it out for you.

Hope to see you at the next book club!
